#2 AVC SUMMER SKILLS KICK OFF CAMP 7th-9th Grade

Our first camp of the summer! This camp is designed for incoming 7th-9th Graders wanting to learn the game of volleyball or improve and add to the skills they already have. This camp is designed for newcomers, premier players, and power league players from all clubs who have completed their 2024 season. The first hour will be a hyper-focused serving and jump serving session. The second hour will focus on approach work, arm swing and hand contact for hitting. The third hour of camp will specialize in passing and defense. The last day of camp will be putting all the skills together in game play situations. This is a fun filled, informative camp for maximum improvement! Players will be broken up based on ability and age. Come work with our AMAZING AVC Staff!

#4 SERVE & ATTACK w/ Gameplay 7th-9th Grade

Monday June 9th– Tuesday June 10th

1:30 PM - 3:30 PM

This camp will give players the ability to focus on all aspects of the transition game, putting skills together to make great plays. Knowing what to do next is a huge volleyball concept, and that is the focus of this week! Teamwork and communication are very important components of being a great volleyball player, along with understanding the game, and we will encourage players to focus on this part of their game at this camp.

#7 ADVANCED NATIONAL PREP CAMP

2025 Season Advanced 8th Grade & Up (14s-18s): ***Open to players from other clubs***

Wednesday June 18th – Thursday June 19th

Must have Qualified or Attending National Championships at USAV or AAU

(7.B) 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM (Passing & Defense)
(7.C) 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM (Setting) for ALL PLAYERS

(Camp 7.A): AVC's Advanced National Prep Camp is the perfect opportunity for all experienced power league club players to prepare for Junior Nationals with AVC coaches. The camp focuses on improving offensive techniques, shot selection, blocking skills, serve and pass, and defensive abilities. Participants will learn new skills to secure the winning point in Las Vegas and Orlando. Due to the camp's high demand, early registration is encouraged to secure a spot.

(Camp 7.B): The Advanced Camp offers a comprehensive serve and pass and defensive clinics tailored to each position. With the guidance of AVC's experienced staff, players will refine their technique, footwork, and defensive moves. Players will also learn to pass all types of serves and defend all sets and hits, ensuring a well-rounded skill set for Junior Nationals.

(Camp 7.C): In addition to serving and passing, the camp is ideal for experienced setters looking to refine their technique and for liberos seeking to improve their out-of-system setting. Players will work with Jake to perfect their hand position, dumping, tempo sets, and serving. Even Pins and Middles are welcome to attend and hone their setting skills since all players must be able to step in and use their hands.

#16 ADVANCED POSITION CAMP w/ Director Katie Pease, and AVC Staff

(Camp 16.A): These clinics are for the advanced player who wants to improve in their position! Players will receive individual feedback from all the staff. You will have the opportunity to work with the Directors of AVC in a small group setting. You will also receive real time video feedback helping players to visually see their technique and tendencies. These clinics are an outstanding opportunity to improve and will fill up quickly. They are also a great way to learn about Absolute Volleyball and our coaches, and be seen before tryouts. Players should pack a lunch if attending both camps.

(Camp 16.B): These clinics are for the advanced player who wants to improve in their position! Players will receive individual feedback from all the staff. You will have the opportunity to work with the Directors of AVC in a small group setting. You will also receive video feedback helping players to visually see their technique and tendencies! These clinics will be an outstanding opportunity to improve and will fill quickly. They are also a great way to learn about Absolute and be seen before tryouts. Players should pack a lunch if attending both camps.

#18 PRE-TRYOUT: ADVANCED TRAINING & SHOWCASE CAMP FOR 15s -16s

9th & Intermediate 10th Graders

Tryouts are around the corner, and being a great defender is an asset to any team! Come brush up on your knowledge, footwork, and transition, as well as diving and serving. This is a great camp to learn and improve before both AVC and High School Tryouts!

(Camp 18.B): This camp will focus on fine-tuning players movement on the court for offense, increasing your arm swing, making your approach more dynamic, learning to tool your blocker, reading the block, finding the seams, and placing the ball where you want, by increasing the toolbox of your attack options. Tryouts are around the corner, and a great offensive player is an asset to any team! Come brush up on your knowledge, footwork, and transition, as well as serving. This is a great camp to learn and improve before both AVC and High School Tryouts!

Cost: $350 for one camp, $650 for both

#19 PRE-TRYOUT: ADVANCED TRAINING & SHOWCASE CAMP for 16s, 17s & 18s

#21 HIGH SCHOOL TRYOUT PREP CAMP UPDATED

9th-12th Grade

Monday July 28th– Wednesday July 30th

(21.A) 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM (Serve and Pass w/ Defensive Gameplay)
(21.B) 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM (Offense and Game Play)

(Camp 21.A): This camp will focus on preparing you for High School Tryouts with you serving, passing and defense! Come in and get some extra reps, and fine tune some existing skills, to give you that summer training advantage. We will focus on playing defense, reading servers and serve receive, serving, of course, DIGGING lots of balls! Please sign up early as this camp sells out! This camp is also open to advanced 8th graders.

(Camp 21.B): This camp will focus on preparing you for High School Tryouts with hitting and serving. We will focus on increasing your toolbox of skills with hitting high balls, quick balls, slides, tips, and shots. Setters will have this opportunity to work on all sets as well. We will also focus on the transition game in detail. Camp will fill quickly so sign up early. This camp is also open to advanced 8th graders.
