Winter Program

Juniors Jumpers: 3rd - 6th Grade Girls
  • A fun, foundational program designed to introduce young athletes to volleyball. Emphasizes basic skills, teamwork, and a love for the game, with experienced coaches focusing on confidence and fundamental techniques.
Absolute Advantage: 7th - 8th Grade Girls
  • The next step after Junior Jumpers. Focuses on advanced techniques, game strategies, and fun drills in a supportive yet challenging environment. Coaches help enhance volleyball IQ, fundamentals, and performance. Why it matters: Both programs are excellent pathways into competitive volleyball, offering structured training and development opportunities that help athletes succeed as they progress through Absolute Volleyball.
 
Get ready to elevate your game with our JJ/AA Winter Program. This 11 week training session is designed to take your skills to the next level! This program includes two tournaments at the last session on Feb 22nd and Mar 1st at our AVC Facility. 
 
During these sessions, you'll receive dedicated coaching and practice on all position-specific techniques, allowing you to improve your role on the court. These sessions are the perfect opportunity for players eager to refine their skills, enhance their understanding of the sport, and unleash their potential in a dynamic, supportive environment. As the program progresses, there will be strategic gameplay introduced to enhance players' understanding of the sport.
 

These sessions will be led by former Division I players,  Jane Seslar, Vanna Marquez, & Leah Pease. 

Jane is the current varsity head coach at Redwood high school. She is also a former assistant coach at Stanford. Jane will be head coaching the 16 Black team and assistant coaching the 13 Black team in the 2025-2026 season.

Vanna Marquez has been coaching at AVC since 2020. She was a libero at Dominican University of California. Vanna has earned multiple Academic All-PacWest honors throughout her collegiate career. She currently coaches the 12 Blue, 18 Pink, and 11 Black.

Leah Pease has been coaching at AVC for the past 8 years. She will be head coaching the 12 Black team and assistant coaching the 14 Black team in the 2024-2025 season.

  • Please be sure to bring  knee pads, tennis shoes, and water bottle. Girls with long hair should wear their hair up in a ponytail or braid.

STANDARD CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

At Absolute Volleyball Club (AVC), we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to offer flexibility while ensuring fairness to all families and the integrity of our programs.

24-Hour Grace Period:
If you cancel within 24 hours of your initial purchase, you are eligible for a full refund with no penalty. This applies to all purchases.

Standard Cancellation Policy: ***STARTING SEPT 1ST 2025***

  • A non-refundable $40 administrative fee applies to all cancellations, whether requesting a refund or credit.
  • 14+ Days Before Start: Refund issued minus the $40 fee.
  • Within 14 Days of Start: Credit only (no refund), minus the $40 fee. Credit may be applied toward future AVC camps and clinics, but cannot be used for private lessons, college camps, & club dues.
  • Day of Camp/Clinic, When the Program Begins: No refunds or credits will be issued unless due to extenuating circumstances (e.g., injury or illness with a valid doctor’s note).

Exceptions may be granted at the discretion of AVC management.
