Strength and Conditioning Program
AVC believes strongly that the value of our athletes training is greatly enhanced by a well designed strength and conditioning program that is designed to compliment the volleyball training. Stronger, more agile, better conditioned athletes become more capable of executing difficult volleyball skills and thus learn faster. We also expect to maintain a high level of competition even on long days or multi-day tournaments due to our superior level of conditioning that helps us reduce the effects of fatigue on our level of play
Our strength and conditioning program is run by Konrad Ott, a certified strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer with over 15 years of experience training athletes of all ages and ability levels. Of course you also know Konrad as the Co-Director of the club and one of our top coaches.
Our program is designed to improve our athletes foot speed, coordination, agility, core strength, explosiveness, power, and lateral movement. Our program also encompasses principles of plyometric training.
